Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Interview Savvy LLC (“Interview Savvy”, “we”, “us”) for the Interview Savvy website and Interview Savvy Platform. We have written them in plain language, but they are still a binding agreement — please read them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Interview Savvy. By using the service you confirm you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information when you register and keep it current.
- You are responsible for your login credentials and for everything done under your account.
- Accounts are for one individual. Do not share, sell, or transfer access.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew automatically at the stated interval until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings and you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. Where a one-time purchase was previously offered, it grants access for its stated term and does not renew. Prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and by our Refund Policy.
5. Fair Use Policy
Unlimited plans are intended for normal individual use. Excessive automated, abusive, or commercial usage may be limited or suspended at Interview Savvy's discretion. Examples of unreasonable use include scripted or bulk generation of sessions, sharing one account across a team or organization, and reselling output produced by the service.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract content from the platform.
- Copy or resell our prompts, scoring methodology, or generated coaching content.
- Upload malware, malicious code, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Abuse unlimited plans or circumvent usage limits.
- Impersonate another person or submit content you do not have the right to submit.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive our source code, models, or prompts.
- Use the service for anything unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory.
7. Your content and recording consent
You keep ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, answers, and recordings you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the service for you.
By uploading voice or video, you confirm you have the right to submit the content and consent to Interview Savvy processing it to provide scoring, coaching, playback, and related features.
8. Intellectual property
All content, scoring systems, prompts, coaching methodologies, software, branding, graphics, trademarks, and intellectual property are owned by Interview Savvy LLC. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing.
9. AI disclaimer
Some features use artificial intelligence to generate feedback and recommendations. While designed to be helpful, responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies and should be used as guidance — not professional, legal, financial, or employment advice. Always apply your own judgment before acting on AI-generated feedback.
10. No employment guarantee
Interview Savvy provides interview preparation and AI feedback tools. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, promotions, compensation increases, or employment outcomes. Your results depend on your effort, experience, and the circumstances of each employer.
11. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Interview Savvy LLC and its owners, employees, and coaches will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, offers, income, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
12. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users or for us. Where reasonable we will give notice first. On termination your right to use the service ends; sections that by nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and Interview Savvy consent to that jurisdiction.
