Who we are
Interview Savvy LLC is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We decide what is collected and why, and we are responsible for keeping it safe. You can reach us at support@interviewsavvy.app.
Legal basis for processing
We process your information to perform our contract with you (providing the service and your plan), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), with your consent where required (for example optional analytics cookies and marketing email), and to comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules.
Payment information
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle collects and processes your payment details directly. We do not see, store, or process your full card number. We receive limited billing records from Paddle such as your plan, subscription status, renewal date, and transaction identifiers so we can give you the access you paid for.
Voice and video recordings
Voice and video recordings are used solely to provide coaching, scoring, transcription, and playback features. We do not sell them, publish them, or use them for advertising. By uploading or recording audio or video, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content and consent to us processing it to deliver these features.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account.
- To generate scores, feedback, and coaching tailored to your role and experience.
- To transcribe and play back your recordings.
- To process subscriptions, billing, and plan access.
- To respond to contact and support messages.
- To detect fraud, abuse, and automated or spam submissions.
- To understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
Who we share information with
We share the minimum necessary data with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and subprocessors: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, authentication, AI model providers used to generate feedback and transcription, email delivery, and analytics.
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our plans, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers such as our legal and accounting providers.
- Authorities or other parties where we are required to do so by law.
These recipients are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users.
AI processing
Some features send your answers, resume content, job descriptions, and transcripts to AI model providers to generate feedback. Outputs are guidance for interview preparation, not professional, legal, financial, or employment advice.
Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and access controls that restrict your content to your own account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit who inside Interview Savvy can reach it.
Data retention
You control your interview history. You can delete individual reps, recordings, and opportunities, or delete your account at any time. When you delete your account we remove your content within a reasonable period. Certain information may be retained where required by law, for tax and accounting records, or for fraud prevention.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion, without discrimination for exercising those rights. To make a request, email us and we will respond within the time the law allows.
Children
Interview Savvy is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
